Policy
Mizkan believes that empowering and engaging people is the key to growing together. We encourage our people to take on challenges. As a company, we seek performance improvement through continuous quality improvement. Upon reviewing our Mission and Vision, we identified our critical Value. Together with partners that span companies and countries, we will continue to consider what society values in the present and in the future. Then, we will actively work to make our contribution.
There are increasing regulatory and social demands for companies to respect human rights and maintain fair and equitable labor practices. For instance, the United Nations has established international standards for respecting human rights. It is essential to respect the diversity of all stakeholders to ensure corporate activities are sustainable.
Our Vision is to empower and engage our people and partners under our corporate philosophy to grow together. We will co-create value based on meaningful connections with all stakeholders, and respect human rights and diversity in our business activities.
Targets and Structure
Mizkan is committed to respecting the human rights of its employees and suppliers in accordance with its Human Rights Policy.
Laws and regulations regarding the disclosure of information on human rights are increasing. We are developing an organizational structure to manage human rights risks in each of our operating regions and to comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region. We will continue to review our targets and measures in accordance with the progress of our initiatives, work on improvements and corrective actions, and consider mid- to long-term policies for the entire Mizkan Group.
