Recipe Proposals

Mizkan’s recipe development team in Japan places great importance on developing recipes from the perspectives of both those who prepare food and those who enjoy eating it. In doing so, the team considers multiple viewpoints, including food safety and reliability, as well as taste, enjoyment, ease of preparation, and health. With regard to health, Mizkan believes that both mental and physical well-being are essential. Mental well-being is influenced not only by what we eat, but also by who we share our meals with. For those who cook, value is found not only in achieving good taste, but also in convenience, the sense of fulfillment gained through small efforts, and the cooking process itself. Based on this approach, the recipe development team creates a wide variety of recipes for different occasions, such as recipes that are completed simply by adding a seasoning, recipes that become surprisingly delicious with just a little effort, and recipes that allow people to enjoy the process of cooking. To support physical well-being, the team conducts thorough verification based on scientific evidence. At the same time, Mizkan recognizes that placing too much emphasis on health alone can detract from taste. From the customer’s perspective, we aim to propose recipes that unify taste experience and healthy choices.
