It has been more than 40 years since we began using yuzu juice produced in Aki City, Kochi Prefecture, as an ingredient for our ponzu products.
Over the years, the yuzu producers in Aki City, Kochi (hereinafter referred to as “yuzu farmers”) and Mizkan, as supplier and purchaser respectively, have built long-standing collaborative relationships.
Through joint efforts such as examining equipment suitable for yuzu juice extraction and improving ponzu quality by focusing on aromatic oil components, we share a common vision to bring products made with Kochi yuzu to market and expand their reach.
